Hi guys,today our class are learning how to make an inference and prediction. An inference is a logical conclusion based on what has been stated in the text. You make an inference when you use clues from the story to figure out something that the author does not tell you.
HOW TO MAKE INFERENCES?
- Information which is provided must be analysed.
- Use your experience, knowledge, common sense and power of reasoning to draw logical conclusions.
A prediction is what you think will happen based upon the text,the author, and the background knowledge.
